Bluecoat - Registration

Thank you for your interest in Bluecoat!

Bluecoat is a forum to facilitate professional interactions among pilots, research scientists, engineers, trainers, and anyone else with an interest in flight management systems.

Discussions should be kept on charter and all users treated with respect. Therefore, no ad hominem attacks, politics, or other distracting material are permitted. You can review other basic guidelines in the “Guidelines” tab.

All discussions here are for informational purposes only. Your regulator-approved flight manual is the final authority as to the safe operation of your airplane. Absolutely no claim whatsoever is made to the accuracy or authenticity of any information presented by any user. The organizers of this forum bear no responsibility for what is stated in the forums.

Once you register, you will receive an email message to confirm your registration. This is to help prevent spam bots from invading the forum.

We use moderators to keep things running. Users violating these terms and conditions may be suspended or removed, at our discretion.

We accept non-professional users, such as flight simmers. The quality of “non-certified” high-end consumer simulations has improved tremendously over the last decade, and has a long-term potential for training. These are color-coded when they post. We ask that they not comment authoritatively on the professional forums, and focus their questions on the home-simmer forum, which professional users can optionally contribute to.

We will make every effort to maintain user privacy, within the constraints of the design of the service. We will not sell or attempt to monetize user information. We accept no advertising.

The European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) seems extraordinarily concerned about cookies. Yes, this site uses cookies to facilitate the operation of the website.
